WetterNachweis generates a structured PDF report from official German Weather Service (DWD) open data: day-by-day observations from the nearest weather station, the official bad-weather-day classification (where available; for the remaining days, unless you switch it off before purchase, a clearly marked own assessment using the official DWD criteria as far as daily values allow - the 7 to 14 h MEZ rain criterion cannot be derived from them, and fresh snow is an approximation), and - where the weather station publishes them - the deviation from the 1991-2020 climate normals, the standard long-term reference period used by the DWD and the WMO. Not every station publishes these normals; where they are missing, the report shows the monthly values without the comparison columns. The Profi report adds an hour-by-hour analysis of rain, temperature and wind on adverse days.

Typical uses: documenting a storm or heavy-rain event for an insurance claim (German policies usually treat Beaufort force 8 - a wind speed of at least 62 km/h - as a storm; the report documents the measured gust in m/s and km/h, and the Beaufort scale itself is tabulated for the mean wind, so whether the policy threshold is met is for the insurer to judge); backing up a weather-related delay on a construction site (VOB/B § 6); substantiating a water- or frost-damage claim; evidencing a dry spell (via daily rainfall and, where the station publishes it, the deviation from the long-term normal) to support an agricultural-loss claim; or showing the conditions behind a cancelled outdoor event. Wherever you need to show, with official data, what the weather actually was at a specific place and time.
